Why Might You Consider Haveing An Extension.
House Extensions are always considered by everyone when in need of extra space for any any reason. People Often like the places they live which is why the Extension option is always looked upon rather than moveing to a new home. The most common extension people consdier which we always see is haveing the kitchen extended. The Kitchen is always founded up as being the heart to any home.
RSJ and Structural Wall Demolition
After the Extension was Watertight it was time to bring the house into the new space. We installed 2 RSJ's which took a few days to make sure all the mortar had set. After the mortar had time to set we then took the back wall of the old finished house down, taking our time not to disturb anything. RSJ's were sat on pad stones either side and signed off by building control as we had altered the structure.
Roof Framed and Felted
After Extension had been made, the roof was framed out of 7x2 C24 which was what the architect and Structural Engineer calculated. Partitions walls were then added to separate the Front Porch Toilet from the Utility Room. The roof was then felted to make watertight.
